HANNOVER MESSE 2011 Highlights

In combination with the trade shows "Energy" and "Power Plant Technology" taking place simultaneously in Hannover, "Wind" will command the attention of the energy industry, industrial users, policy-makers and the public sector. In 2009, the year this bi-annual feature at HANNOVER MESSE was launched, Wind already had 155 exhibitors and close to 60,000 visitors. Interest in 2011 is expected to surpass these numbers.

Building on its successful premiere in 2010, "MobiliTec" will present the complete value chain of alternative mobility, including mobile energy storage, EV power infrastructure, power train components, hybrid and electric power transmission, and alternative fuels.

HANNOVER MESSE 2011 will see the launch of the International Conference & Exhibition “Metropolitan Solutions”, showcasing sustainable solutions and project finance for transportation, energy supply, water/wastewater management, and efficient building design.  Metropolitan Solutions is presented in partnership with the International Society of City and Regional Planners.

In the context of HANNOVER MESSE "Industrial Supply" is an unparalleled showplace and discussion forum for the entire subcontracting market. It embraces industrial materials, technological know-how development and design services, as well as outsourced components and systems. Special displays will focus on lightweight construction, bio-based materials, adhesives, etc.
