There is no time like the present to export California's food and agricultural products!
The
California Agricultural Export Training Certificate (CalAgX)
program provides comprehensive training designed to meet the educational needs
of food processors and agricultural producers seeking to export their products
worldwide. The program consists of 6
separate training sessions held at two-week intervals with each session lasting
4 hours. Each of the 6 sessions has been
designed to meet the learning needs of new-to-export or non-exporting food and
agriculture companies. Sessions consist
of:
- Introduction to Food and Agriculture Exports
- Logistics & Documentation
- Banking and Finance
- Foreign Regulations & Legal Aspects
- International Marketing & Market Planning and
- Negotiation & Cultural Aspects.

Class Sessions will begin April 7-9, 2009 and end June 16-18, 2009. Regional class sessions will be held in Northern, Central and Southern California. The location of each class will be announced when online application is available.

International Trade Development (CITD) through the California Community College
Economic Development Program and the U.S. Department of Education Title VI B
grant, International Programs, and is presented in cooperation with the
California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA).
